About The Area
Cerney Wick is in the Parish of South Cerney, in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. Nearby Cirencester is one of the oldest market towns in the country and an important site in Roman times, and Tetbury (with its large number of antique shops and Highgrove shop) is within easy driving distance.
The Cotswolds is a typically English area, with rolling hills, honey-coloured Cotswold stone, beautiful Cotswold villages and miles of walks including The Cotswold Way and The Thames Path.
Events in the area include the world famous Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at Fairford, The Cotswold Show in Cirencester Park, Badminton Horse Trials and WOMAD.
